Cambora LLC ("Cambora", "we", "us") operates Mintname at cambora.ai. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Company descriptions — the text you enter to generate names. We send this to our AI provider to produce name suggestions. We do not store your descriptions after the generation session ends.
- Email address — if you subscribe to updates or request results by email. We use this only to send you what you asked for.
- Usage analytics — anonymous interaction events (page views, button clicks, generation counts). No personal identifiers are attached. We use this to improve the product.
- Session data — temporary session identifiers stored in your browser to enable features like favorites and shortlists. These are not linked to your identity.
How we use your data
- Generate name suggestions using AI
- Send you emails you explicitly requested (results PDF, product updates)
- Improve the product based on anonymous usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
- AI provider — processes your company description to generate names. Your inputs are not used to train AI models.
- Email delivery service — delivers transactional emails if you request results by email.
Data retention
- Company descriptions: not stored after the session ends
- Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe
- Analytics events: retained for up to 12 months, then deleted
- Session data: expires automatically after 7 days
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@cambora.ai. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
Cookies
We use browser localStorage for session management (favorites, session IDs). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
Children
Cambora is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
